The two-part work In Remembrance: to the man, who became known as Angelo Soliman, (antemortem) I & (postmortem) II (2015) deals with the display of Angelo Soliman in the former k&k Hof-und Naturalienmuseum, which was a predecessor of the Museum of Ethnology, Vienna (nowadays Worldmuseum Vienna). By concentrating on props that were used in order to turn Angelo Soliman into an object in his lifetime / after his death, the gaze is shifted, while bringing to the forefront regimes of looking and museal representation.
